CALL FOR ABSTRACTS & GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSION

Rules for submission

Participants are invited to submit original scientific abstracts for oral and poster presentation. The use of trademarks is prohibited, only International Non-proprietary Names (INN), e.g generic drug names, are allowed.

Abstract submission guidelines

The submitting author will receive an email message confirming the receipt of the abstract. Please notify your co-authors that the confirmation was received.
Abstracts may be submitted for oral or poster presentations. Authors may indicate a preference for oral or poster presentation but all decisions will be made by the scientific committee whose determination is final.

1. All abstracts must be submitted in English.
2. Abstracts must be submitted through the registration system available on the conference website
3. Abstracts must contain:
    a. abstract title (Abstracts submitted for the session Pretty Kettle of Fish should have titles hiding the information about the final diagnosis or a problem solution i.e. Atypical cholecystitis in a child with neurological motor impairment)
    b. presenting author's contact details
        - email address
        - full postal address
        - phone number
        - author and co-authors' details
        - full first and family name(s)
        - affiliation details: department, institution / hospital, city, country
    c. keywords (maximum 6)
    d. abstract text - limited to 300 words
        all abstracts must be structured in the following manner:
        Background,
        Objectives
        Methods,
        Results,
        Conclusion
        References are not obligatory and word count is affected by inclusion of references.
Abstracts that do not comply with guidelines will not be reviewed or considered for presentation.

Abstract Review

Abstract presenters are required to be registered for the conference before submission of the abstract.
All abstracts that follow submissions guidelines will be reviewed and selected by the scientific committee.
Presentation formats (oral or poster) will be assigned to accepted abstracts by the scientific committee. All decisions are final.
Notifications will be emailed only to the contact person who submitted the abstract submission.
All submitted abstracts will be published in the conference materials.
